is professional and enjoyable.
I grew up in the auto transport industry. My expertise is figuring IFTA quarterly
fuel taxes and logging monthly maintenance for each truck. I have had the opportunity
to work with accounting, dispatchers, drivers and yes the Department of Transportation.
I can not only help you move your vehicle, but I can assist in many aspects of the
safety department for a trucking company. ---Did you know that despite those changing
fuel prices each truck that uses the US road systems pays a tax for each mile they
move and every gallon of fuel purchased?---This is actually a benefit to all of
us, as each of those tax dollars are put towards improving and maintaining our road
systems. Today I am excited to be serving customers through an auto transport company
where I can share my knowledge and love of the trucking industry with many people.
Since I grew up in the auto transport business, it was only natural for me to make
the Auto Transport business my career. I started dispatching a fleet of trucks when
I was 19 and have been involved ever since. I have worked side by side with veteran
dispatchers, auto carriers and brokers, whom have all influenced me and pushed me
to be better than the rest. When I wasn’t dispatching, I ran the Human Resource
department, and also learned I had a niche for the accounting side of the business.
Dispatching is my true passion; I love working with customers and also being able
to work with the drivers, themselves. I have had the pleasure of working with the
best transport companies and working with the most loyal customers over the past
years. I understand how an auto transport company works and what customers’ needs
are. The most important thing in the transport business is honesty, from the driver
to the broker, the broker to the customer, the broker to the driver, and customer
to the broker. I am here to take care of the customer as well as the auto transport
company in all aspects of car hauling.
When I was 15 years old I had decided that being an auto mechanic was exactly what
I wanted to be when I grew up. My father quickly put a stop to this, but my fascination
and love for cars didn’t stop there. I own a ‘94 Z-28 Camaro with 373 rear end gears
in it and the “girly” paint job I always wanted. I also spent time in the shop rebuilding
a 350 engine for my ‘79 Chevy Pick up. It has flat top pistons boarded 60 over.
The louder and faster the better--don’t get me wrong luxury is still important.
I sport an ‘06 STS Cadillac today. So when my dreams of being a mechanic didn’t
pan, out I decided that following in the family footsteps and entering in auto transport
industry seemed to be the next best fit. Over the last eleven years I have learned
a great deal from veteran dispatchers and transporters. My time spent as Safety
Director for a respected auto transport company taught me the importance of working
with professional and well trained people as well as the importance of safety and
respect on the road where many drivers are earning a living. It truly excites me
to help others in taking care of one of their most precious assets—their automobile.
